That actually did sound fun. So I nodded again and climbed on. I jumped and jumped and jumped! Higher and higher. Until finally, I was able to do a backflip and land on my feet on the bed. Pretty soon I was giggling, and my mom was there too, watching.

Mr. Miller beamed. “I’m so lucky I ran into you at the feed store. To be able to find the perfect gymnast for my ‘Spring into Savings’ sale … I tell you, I’m a lucky guy. It looks like your daughter can do anything.”

I stopped jumping and climbed off the bed. The full kept popping into my head. I couldn’t do EVERYTHING, that was for sure.

The other thing I couldn’t do? Tell Mr. Miller the truth.
